The launch of new products and increased customer demand has created the need for these additional engineers</p>
<h2>The Role of a Field Service Engineer</h2>
<p>Based from home you will be required to carry out breakdown and planned repair work on commercial buses. Standard work hours are Monday to Friday but your overall earnings are controlled by you as overtime is freely available.</p>
<h2>Key Skills</h2>
<p>As technology has developed so has the skills required to diagnose and repair these modern vehicles. Ideally you will have experience in carrying out laptop diagnostic work and be skilled both in electrical and mechanical vehicle repair work. Ideally commercial buses.</p>

Our client is growing fast and requiring additional skilled maintenance engineers for the power generation industry. They provide direct power to the armed forces in Iraq to backup power supplies for hospitals and telecom network companies to name but a few, this employer offers both stability and security for the successful candidate. Offering solutions for sale or hire and comprehensive service agreements our client offers the most efficient products in both gas and diesel with power levels up to 25mva. </p>
<h3>The Role of a Field Service Engineer</h3>
<p>In this role you will be based at a high profile customer site though you may be required to attend neighbouring sites using your company vehicle. You will work Monday to Friday 8.30am &#8211; 5.00pm with a generous overtime rate for additional hours. You will provide both planned and reactive maintenance on diesel generators to a strict schedule ensuring machinery downtime is kept to a minimum. </p>
<h3>Key Skills</h3>
<ul>
<li>Most importantly you will posses mechanical and electrical experience with diesel generators.</li>
<li>You will have a solid work history, a strong work ethic and be a team player. </li>
<li>Previously successful candidate&#8217;s backgrounds include forces, HGV and generators. </li>
</ul>

<p>Basic salary £28,000 &#8211; £32,000 with average earnings of £36-40,000 per annum plus pension life assurance and generous holiday allowance. </p>
