To Manage all aspects of application User Acceptance Testing for a Windows XP migration project.

• UAT Script Creation and QA and reporting
• Identify, Organize and schedule UAT Resource(s)
• Organize facilities for UAT activities
• Schedule UAT slots aligned with the Application Packaging work stream

Technical Skills Required

• Experience of UAT testing
• Experience of writing test scripts and reports
• Knowledge of defect logging and tracking
• General understanding of client computing as implemented in large scale distributed environments
• Familiarity with applications including shrink-wrapped and client/server

Desirable:

• Previous project experience of a desktop refresh exercise in a large scale distributed environment
• Business Skills Required
• Excellent organizational, communications and people skills
• Experience in multi-site resource scheduling and co-ordination
• Work to tight timescales
• Perceptive of business priorities
• Experience of creating concise and structured reports

Desirable:

• Previous experience of application rationalisation highly desirable
• Experience of a large scale utilities environment
• To manage all aspect of User Acceptance Testing with respect to (Development and Network Applications.

1. Act as the co-ordination point with the Business for application UAT
2. Creation, QA and sign-off of application specific UAT Scripts and templates
3. Creation and maintenance of UAT processes to ensure all work is consistent and approved
4. Co-ordinate and organize the facilities for UAT activities,
5. Organise and schedule UAT Resource(s) to do UAT work to meet project timescales

EMC/TEMPEST TEST ENGINEER
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Engineer working in the Industry EMC Group with our leading services client based in Fareham, Hampshire. The role will be predominantly test engineering on a combination of Aerospace, Defence and Industrial products both onsite and in-situ. The main focus will be EMC work but with a significant element of TEMPEST testing.

Responsibilities:

• EMC / TEMPEST – Both Screened enclosure and In-situ.
• Test Plan and Report Writing.
• Test Equipment / Method Development / Evaluation.
• Assistance to customers during failure phase of their EMC test program and general consultancy prior to start of job.
• Validation of clients’ requirements (may require site visits).
• Assistance to sales with provision of quotations.
• Project Management of EMC jobs including financial control.

Essential Criteria:

• Excellent Interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team or individually.
• Pro-active and self motivated with the ability to manage own workload.
• Knowledge of TEMPEST testing techniques with a minimum basic TEMPEST qualification.
• Flexibility and a commitment to a rostered shift pattern to meet business requirements.
• A good engineering qualification, or relevant experience in RF / Electronics.
• Commitment to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent IT skills and experience of Microsoft Office.
• Full Driving License

Desirable Criteria:

• SC security clearance
• Transmitter Testing Qualification
• Advanced TEMPEST Tester qualification
